“Irsa’s Dream”
Nocturnal Blossom: Butterfly Pea Flower Infused Gin Illustration for 18th Street Distillery's Street Artisan Series
A beautiful Thai folklore describes a fantastical origin story for the magical plant. They say, a thousand and one years ago in the time when the creatures of the Himmapan Forest still roamed among humans, there lived a woman named Isra. One night while Irsa was sleeping Kinnari, a half woman-half bird being, came to her in a dream and beckoned her to follow. She brought Irsa through her enchanted forest along a floral scented path until they came to an unusual blue flower that Isra had never seen before.
"Take this with you and plant it in your garden so you may enchant your village." Kinnari told her. Isra brought the marvelous blue flower back through her dream and shared it with her people.

“Funk 16” Dark Matter Coffee, Bag Illustration. (2023). Artwork, Details, Story, and Process ✨🎨✍️💫
When Dark Matter Coffee approached me with this project, they threw me a prompt that made my imagination explode in a million different directions: to illustrate a scene in which aliens have crash landed into an old truck stop diner and are in a full blown battle to take it over…oh, and make it FUNKY🌟 I decided to dig into my love for the Funk era and illustrate a gang of insanely groovy alien musicians hijacking the diner’s jukebox and taking over the restaurant with the irresistible power of Funk..🕺🪩
What I find most inspiring about Funk music is that at its core, it was unhinged self-expression, the heartbeat of a revolution, a symphony of defiance..The Funk era was a time of complete transformation, where the spirits of social change and musical innovation danced hand in hand. As an artist, I am eternally enthralled by Funk's boundless creativity and impact and use it as a compass for unleashing my imagination to create pieces with an essence of genuine soul and purpose.

“Beings That Guide”
"Heroine" a witchy coffee bag illustrated for Dark Matter Coffee in honor of women's history month 💙
The Heroine blend celebrates International Women's Day on the 8th and kicks off Women's History Month. We are excited to highlight a coffee from an all-women coffee cooperative in Rwanda. The Women's Coffee Extension (WCE) Kawa Yacu cooperative was founded in 2017 and now has over 700 producers! "Kawa Yacu" translates to "our coffee!" This washed coffee has a surprising amount of acidity, with bright citrusy notes up front. We paired this with a washed Catuai from San Jeronimo Miramar to balance the cup bringing more sweetness.
$5 of every bag sold benefits the Women’s Business Development Center.

Bloomin
Pride Month Design in collaboration with Epic Popcorn
This illustration was inspired by the parallel I saw between the natural beauty of a flower basking in the nourishment of the sun and the way an individual who receives support, love, and acceptance from their community may flourish into proud, radiant versions of their unique selves
As a queer woman, Pride Month to me is about visibility and celebrating the beauty and diversity of the LGBTQ community. It’s also a time for reflection and gratitude for the sacrifices on which the freedom we enjoy now has been built
