Illustration for Chicago Cannabis Company for their Limited Edition Blood Orange Infused Gummies

About the Concept:

I was inspired by the bold, juicy blood orange flavor and the mind-bending effects of these gummies, which led me to create this trippy, layered scene…I imagined a blood orange spiraling open..its peel unfurling, spilling rich red citrus liquid all over..As we follow the spiral, a surreal figure begins to emerge, her face appearing as if she’s part of the fruit itself, yet also simultaneously unraveling it with her very own hands, both revealing and becoming the essence of the blood orange. I wanted to capture that blurring of boundaries, the way a gummy adventure can pull you into a world where everything starts to merge and twist together. So here’s to embracing the unusual, letting each bite take you a little deeper… have fun, get weird, and enjoy the ride!
